The International Agrosalon Země živitelka 2024 will open its doors from August 22 to 27, 2024, at the exhibition grounds in České Budějovice. This year is exceptional not only because it marks the 50th edition of this prestigious exhibition but also because visitors will have the opportunity to explore over 21,000 m² of exhibition space showcasing more than 600 exhibitors from 20 countries.

MAIN EVENTS AT THE ZEMĚ ŽIVITELKA 2024 EXHIBITION
One of the main highlights of this year’s Země živitelka exhibition is the South Bohemian Beef Show 2024, showcasing cattle breeds such as Angus, Dexter, and Limousin.
This event is not only a showcase of top breeding animals but also an opportunity for farmers and agricultural experts to connect. Visitors can also enjoy the traditional Shepherd’s Day, held on Sunday, August 25, 2024.
Smart Farming – Precision Agriculture is another key part of the Země živitelka 2024 program. This innovative project presents modern solutions for agriculture and includes lectures, panel discussions, and workshops on an outdoor stage. The project is supported by the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, and Mendel University in Brno. Visitors can look forward to presentations by innovative companies offering modern technologies and approaches in agriculture. On the outdoor area between pavilions T1 and Z, the latest agricultural technologies and equipment will be on display.
Children and families will enjoy the Children’s Agricultural World, an interactive zone offering educational activities through play. This amusement park includes playful farms, educational trails, a children’s agricultural corner, bouncy castles, and many other attractions.

NATIONAL HARVEST FESTIVAL AT ZEMĚ ŽIVITELKA 2024
A significant event at the Země živitelka exhibition is the National Harvest Festival, held on Saturday, August 24, 2024. This celebration honors the rich harvest and is a significant day for all farmers. The traditional harvest parade, led by top state and government representatives, features people in traditional costumes, majorettes, hunters with birds of prey, and hunting dogs.
The ceremonial opening of the National Harvest Festival takes place in the Brewery Garden, where visitors can enjoy live music and a cultural program. The National Harvest Festival is supported by the Czech Agrarian Chamber and the České Budějovice Exhibition Center.
PROGRAM FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY AT ZEMĚ ŽIVITELKA 2024
Země živitelka 2024 offers a six-day program full of entertainment, education, and inspiration for the entire family. Visitors can look forward to a rich schedule that includes concerts, lectures, workshops, and competitions.
In the Brewery Garden, musical performances featuring well-known bands and emerging artists take place daily. A variety of attractions for children are prepared, including theatrical performances, educational programs, and fun competitions.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION FOR VISITORS TO ZEMĚ ŽIVITELKA 2024
The Země živitelka 2024 exhibition is open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with shortened hours on the final day, Tuesday, August 27, closing at 5:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased online or at the venue.
Ticket prices range from 100 CZK for discounted tickets to 450 CZK for family passes. Parking is available for motorcycles, cars, vans, and buses, with prices ranging from 90 CZK to 350 CZK per day.
Visitors arriving by train can take advantage of special discounts on tickets through the Můj vlak app, offering a 25% discount on return trips. This offer is valid for travel between August 21 and 28, 2024, making it convenient and affordable to visit the Země živitelka exhibition.
